Interested in Becoming a Student at Literacy Action?
The process to enroll with Literacy Action is a 4 day process. Please read the information below to find out how to get started!

You can CALL (404) 818-7323 or WALK-IN to schedule your 2 day appointment. |
Day One: Registration is held the first 3 Mondays of each month. The available appointment times are 12:00PM, 1:00PM and 2:00PM. Day Two: GAIN Testing is held the first 3 Tuesdays of each month. The test begins at 12:00PM. It is suggested that all test takers arrive NO LATER than 11:45PM. NOTE: Registrations and Testings are subject to change and cancellation due to class availability. |

Day One:Registration |
During Registration you will meet one-on-one with a Literacy Action Staff Member to gather information and place you in our student database.
On Day One you will need to bring with you, the following items: A valid ID Proof of Income or Assistance Proof of Residency 16 and 17 year olds ONLY: High School Withdraw papers or letters from last school attended. A parent and/or guardian MUST be present during registration |

Day Two:GAINAssessmentTest |
The GAIN (General Assessment of Instructional Needs) is given to each student. This test helps us place you in the correct level of class. | |

2 DayOrientation |
You MUST attend BOTH days to receive a class schedule. |
Orientation dates are given AFTER you have completed your 2 day appointment. Orientation provides each student with information regarding their experience within the classroom, our policies and procedures and more. Orientations are generally held the last Wednesday AND Thursday of each month from 10:00AM-1:00PM.
