
Literacy Action was named the Finalist in the Community Foundation for Metro Atlanta’s Managing for Excellence Award, a rigorous and competitive process in which we were awarded a $10,000 grant.

Moved to a superior testing tool, GAIN (General Assessment of Instructional Needs), that provides LAI students and staff with increased information about entry levels and where additional instruction is needed.

Received funding from major corporations across the city, including: Assurant Companies, Bank of America, AT&T, BNY Mellon, Coca-Cola, Cox Enterprises, Georgia-Pacific, Georgia Power, Home Depot, North Highland, Southern Company, Turner Broadcasting, and many others.
